Works Cited & Sources

Every citation across all 18 Champion Lessons, in one place · 2026–2027

The INtegrate Champion Lessons are original content written by NuStart Health for Tippecanoe (TSC) and Lafayette (LSC) School Corporations. Most of what each lesson teaches — how the program works, the Champion role, the scorecard, the Building Resource Inventory, and local supports — is drawn from NuStart/INtegrate program materials rather than outside publications, so those lessons carry no external citations. Where a lesson draws on an established idea from outside the program, that source is credited below. This is the single master reference for the whole set of Champion Lessons.

Notes

On the AIDA framework. Earlier drafts of Champion Lesson 9 taught the classic AIDA funnel (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action), attributed to Elias St. Elmo Lewis, c. 1900. Lesson 9 now teaches a story-first approach, which fits colleague-to-colleague, behavior-change communication better. AIDA is noted here for reference only.
On hashtags (Champion Lesson X6). Hashtags have been demoted as a discovery tool: Instagram’s head, Adam Mosseri, has said they do not necessarily increase reach, and LinkedIn removed hashtag following and search in 2024. Lesson X6 therefore teaches “social SEO” — keyword-rich, natural-language captions — as the primary way to be found, while keeping the branded program hashtag as a campaign label that gathers all posts.
