What the Council is

The Coordinated Health Council is a district-wide group that steers wellness for LSC. It looks across all the buildings, notices what is working, and helps decide where support and attention go next. It is where the big-picture direction gets set, and where buildings learn from one another.

Why your voice matters

You are the person on the ground in your building, and the Council cannot see what you see. When you share what is happening where you work, the wins, the barriers, and what you need, the district can support you better and other Champions can borrow what works for you. Your building is only represented if you speak for it. A quiet building looks like a building with nothing to say, when usually it just needs someone to say it.

How to participate well

• Attend when the Council meets, in person or however it is offered.
• Contribute out loud. Share one real thing from your building, and ask when you need help.
• Send your Pre-Meeting Building Report beforehand, so the group arrives already knowing where things stand.

The Pre-Meeting Building Report

This short report is how your building checks in before each meeting. It is quick, and it keeps the meeting focused. It asks you to share:

• What INtegrate activities happened in your building, with rough timeframes.
• Current participation and any wins worth noting.
• Challenges or barriers you are running into.
• Resources or help you need.
• One thing you want to share with, or ask, the group.

It also asks for two quick ratings: how you would rate staff participation and engagement in your building, and how supported you feel in the role. That is the whole report.
